Description

Sourced from one of Papua New Guinea’s most isolated organic coffee-growing communities, PNG Iwaki Organic is produced by 147 smallholder family groups in the Eastern Highlands’ Okapa district. The coffee traces its roots to seedlings from the Purosa Plantation, established in 1984, and has flourished in a rugged, river-fed landscape at 1,600 meters above sea level.

Certified organic, Iwaki growers receive ongoing agronomic and post-harvest support, ensuring careful plant management, consistent processing, and reliable quality year after year. Traditional farming practices, combined with structured training and community development initiatives, result in a coffee that sustains both the land and the families who cultivate it.
